NEW in 3ds Max 2016: Exposes the mental ray Ambient Occlusion Render Element to MAXScript.

Common Render Element Properties:

<mr_Ambient_Occlusion>.enabled    BooleanClass    default: true   --  boolean

Gets/sets the enabled state of the Render Element.

When set to False, the Render Element will not be rendered.

   

<mr_Ambient_Occlusion>.filterOn     BooleanClass    default: true   --  boolean; FilteringOn

Gets/sets whether to filter the Render Element.

   

<mr_Ambient_Occlusion>.elementName     String    default: "mr Ambient Occlusion"   --  string

Gets/sets the name of the Render Element displayed in the Render Elements manager.

   

<mr_Ambient_Occlusion>.atmosphereOn     BooleanClass    default: true   --  boolean

Gets/sets whether to apply Atmospheric Effects to the Render Element's output.

   

<mr_Ambient_Occlusion>.bitmap     UndefinedClass    default: undefined   --  bitmap

Get the bitmap the Render Element writes to.

   

mr Ambient Occlusion Rollout:

<mr_Ambient_Occlusion>.maxDistance     Float    default: 4.0   --  float; Max_Distance

Gets/sets the value of the "Max Distance" spinner.

   

<mr_Ambient_Occlusion>.falloff     Integer    default: 1   --  integer

Gets/sets the selection of the "Falloff" drop-down list.

Possible values are:

0 - None

1 - Linear (default)

2 - Quadratic

3 - Cubic
