Uninstalling Maya with Softimage from a Windows OS

Use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool or the Control Panel.

The Autodesk Uninstall Tool provides a convenient way to uninstall one or more products at the same time. For more information, see To Uninstall an Autodesk Product.

To uninstall Maya or Softimage from the Control Panel in Windows 7, Service Pack 1:

1. Left-click the Windows Start button and select Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel, select to view the contents by Category if required.
3. Under the Programs Category, click Uninstall a program.
4. Select Autodesk Maya 2016 or Autodesk Softimage 2015 and click Uninstall/Change.
5. Follow the uninstallation instructions.

To uninstall Maya or Softimage from the Control Panel in Windows 8:

1. Left-click the Windows Start screen All Apps Control Panel Programs.
2. Select Autodesk Maya 2016 or Autodesk Softimage 2015 and click Uninstall/Change.
3. Follow the uninstallation instructions.
