Install a new license server

For network licenses, the license server software may need to be updated for Maya 2016.

The new version of the license server tools, Version 11.12, is copied by the Maya 2016 product on your system or can be found on the Maya 2016 DVD in the following location: <cddrive>\NetworkLicenseManager. This same version was required by Maya 2015. The files included in the download are:

• NLM.msi for Windows
• adlmflexnetserver-11.0.15-0.x86_64.rpm for Linux, and
• adlmflexnetserver.pkg for Mac (inside the installer package)

The new version (11.12) of the license server for Windows can also be downloaded from the Autodesk Knowledge Network - Autodesk Maya Downloads.

1. To install the new license server:
2. Double-click the file supported on your platform (NLM.msi, adlmflexnetserver-11.0.15-0.x86_64.rpm, or adlmflexnetserver.pkg).
3. Follow the installation instructions.
