The Moldflow Supplement

The Moldflow Supplement provides installation and product information specific to Autodesk Moldflow products.

This supplement is intended to be used alongside the Autodesk publications:

• Installation Basics Guide

  This publication provides end-user installation instructions.

• Installation Administrator's Guide

  This publication includes 3 separate resources to teach you about the different software licensing options and how to manage them, how to create and distribute an Autodesk deployment and standardize installation across multiple computers, and how to keep your Autodesk software up-to-date.

Together, these publications provide most of the information you will require, but they are written to be generic for all Autodesk products . The Moldflow Supplement provides additional information on the following:

• License tracking for Windows users
• License tracking for Linux users
• Instructions for installing on a Windows operating system using the Autodesk installer.
• Instructions for installing on a Linux operating system.
• Frequently asked questions about product installation

Attention: It is important that you review the Installation Basics Guide and the Installation Administrator's Guide before you install this product. Autodesk 2016 products include NLM version 11.12; all network license servers working with 2016 products must also run NLM version 11.12. The 2016 clients cannot get licenses from a server running NLM 11.11 or lower. However, older versions of Autodesk products will still work on NLM 11.12.
