Import a Model

In this task, you import an existing CAD model.

1. Click (Home tab > Import panel > Import).

2. Navigate to the location where you saved the Autodesk Inventor file.

3. Select the file MouseCover.ipt and click Open.

4. Ensure that the mesh type is Dual Domain then click OK.

   

   

5. Use the View Cube and Navigation bar on the right to move the model around the screen.

   

6. To program mouse buttons, click

   Applications menu > Options > Mouse tab. Set the mouse buttons to your liking.
