There are two ways to install FLEXlm on Linux:
- In the Media Browser, under Install, click Network License Manager.
Or you can install FLEXlm from the CD, using the following procedure.
- Copy the file flexlm_mapguideenterprise2007-networklicensemanager-1-1.i386-rpm.bin from the nlm folder to some temporary location.
- On the command line, enter the following: ./bin flexlm_infrastructuremapserver2012-networklicensemanager-1-1.i386-rpm.bin
- Read the license agreement and enter Yes to accept it.
- Use the RPM package to install FLEXlm as a super user: rpm -i flexlm_infrastructuremapserver2012-networklicensemanager-1-1.i386.rpm
The RPM will install the following files to /opt/Autodesk/networklicensemanager directory:
