Currently, the Node Editor and the Hypershade only have limited asset support. If you wish to use assets in the Hypershade, do as follows:
Select Editors from the Edit Hotkeys For drop-down list and Hypershade as your editor.
Only UV tile images within the UV range of 0 to 1 are previewed in the Material Viewer, and only the first tile is previewed. To workaround this issue, view your soloing results in Viewport 2.0 or preview your flat texture in the UV Editor.
Because bookmarks are not supported, the recommended workflow is to use work area tabs instead.
The Fluid shape and texture nodes do not render in the Material Viewer.
