Display audio on the Time Slider

An audio waveform automatically displays in the Time Slider when you import an audio file.

Tip:

You can change the default color of the waveform by changing the Sound color swatch in the Color Settings (in the Animation section).

If you import more than one audio file, the Time Slider automatically switches to Use Trax Sounds mode, representing each sound file as a solid line instead of a waveform.

To specify which audio file displays in the Time Slider

  1. Right-click the Time Slider, then select Sound > audio file from the pop-up menu that appears. (Where audio file is the name of the audio file you want to display.)

The audio file waveform for the sound you select displays in the Time Slider and plays during playback.

To display multiple audio files on the Time Slider

  1. Right-click the Time Slider and select Sound > Use Trax Sounds.

A line representing each sound file you have imported displays.
