You can set the following preferences in the Save Actions category of the Preferences window.
To return to the default factory settings, choose in this window. Note that this resets the preferences in every category in the Preferences window.
If there are unsaved changes detected in the scene when you exit Maya, these options let you save all Preferences and Settings and Script Editor contents upon exiting.
