Cyclical constraints in HumanIK

When connecting a prop to an HIK rig, you can connect the prop to one effector using a constraint, then have the constrained object act as a source for a second constraint. For example, you can connect a prop to be driven by the right hand, then have the prop drive an auxiliary effector of the left hand.

  1. Select an IK or FK effector, and create a constraint (Parent, Point, Orient, or Aim) to connect the effector as a source object to the target prop.
  2. Create a second constraint connecting the prop (source) to another object (such as an auxiliary effector).
Note: IK Pull does not work on the HIK rig when you have an active cyclical constraint.
