Break a symmetry connection

To break a symmetry connection

After creating symmetric joints, removing the symmetry connection lets you modify each joint independently.

1. Select a source joint and do one of the following:
   • + + -click and select Break Symmetry from the marking menu.
   • Select Delete by Type > Constraints from the main menu.
   The symmetry connection is broken.

   Note: To break all symmetry connections on the entire hierarchy, -click the root joint and select Hierarchy before selecting Break Symmetry from the joint marking menu.
