Plot properties dialog-Animation tab

Set the animation properties of the displayed result, such as the number of frames, or whether each frame displays a cumulative result.

You can set the number of frames used in the animation. For example, increase the number of frames to smooth an animation and see the material flow progress in smaller steps. This can be useful when investigating material flow through complex geometry.

Element Explanation
Number of frames Specify the number of frames to be generated for the animation.

Enter the desired number of frames in the box provided or use the arrow controls to select the number of frames.

Value range In the characteristic units of the current plot, specify the range to be displayed on each frame of the animation.
The smaller the range you specify, the more frames will be created in the animation.
Note: The default value is obtained by dividing the full value range of the result (e.g. 0 to 2.5 seconds in the case of a fill time plot) by 23 (one less than the default number of animation frames).
Single dataset animation Select which single dataset animation method to use.
Accumulate
Displays the cumulative result values as the animation proceeds.
The result values of all preceding frames are displayed as well as the value range of the current frame.
Current frame only
Displays only the specific value range associated with each frame.
