Explanation

You have set up to run a Microcellular injection molding analysis, and you have selected to switch from velocity control to pressure control By %weight reduction, but you haven't specified by what percentage you would like the weight of the part to be reduced. Enter a value between 0 and 50%; a typical value might be 10%.

Resolution

Enter, or correct, the Velocity/pressure switch-over (Microcellular) in the Process Settings Wizard:

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings).
2. Confirm the Velocity/pressure switch-over parameter selection, and change it, if appropriate, using the drop-down selection.
3. Check the data entry box associated with Velocity/pressure switch-over (Microcellular), and enter a value, or correct the existing value.
4. Click Next, if necessary, to progress to the last page of the Process Settings Wizard.
5. Click Finish to close the dialog.
