The Launch Wizard is used to locate and open an Moldflow Results file.
Note: To stop the Launch Wizard from opening, click the Do not show wizard again checkbox from the Autodesk Moldflow Communicator Options. To enable the Launch Wizard again, select Use Wizard at start.
To open a results file
- Use one of the following methods to select a file:
- Enter the path and filename of your Moldflow Results file (*.mfr).
- Click
Browse to locate your Result file. - Select the file you want to open from the list of Most Recently Viewed Files.
- Click Next.
- Click one of the following options to choose how the result(s) should be displayed:
- Visualise Results
- This allows you to view the results of the analysis graphically.
- Compare Results
- This option requires two studies in the Moldflow Results file. The first result of each study is displayed graphically in a tiled pane.
- Quantify Results
- This allows you to compare results to an Moldflow Criteria file to analyze where the inputs and results of the study differs from the criteria.
Criteria Files contain optimum values or ranges for input values and results.
Note: You should only compare studies with relevant criteria.
- Click Finish to close the Launch Wizard.
If you selected to Visualise results, the first result in the first study is displayed.
If you selected to Compare results, the first result in both studies are displayed in seperate panes.
If you selected to Quantify results, the Study Comparison Report is displayed.
