Create Valve Gate Controller dialog

The Create Valve Gate Controller dialog is used to setup the valve gate controllers according to you actual setup.

To access this dialog, click (Boundary Conditions tab > Feed System panel > Valve Gate Controller > Create/Edit).

Dialog element	Explanation
Create new valve gate controller	Clicking the New Valve Gate Controller button opens a dialog where you can create and define the properties of a new valve gate controller.
Edit Controllers	This table lists all the controllers you have created and provides a means to view and edit them.
Controller Name	This is the name that was assigned to the controller to differentiate it from other valve gate controllers. Click View/Edit to save under a different name.
Trigger	Valve gates can be opened and closed based on different triggers: Time Flow front Pressure %Volume Ram position This column identifies which option was selected for each controller. Click View/Edit to change to a different trigger.
Gate Open/Close Type	Some valve gates open instantly upon receiving a trigger, while others can be programmed to open in a velocity controlled manner according to a user-defined table of events. This column identifies which of these two options was selected for each controller: Instant - this is the default setting. Variable speed - this option is available for Midplane and Dual Domain mesh types only. Click View/Edit to switch option.
Highlight on model	Clicking the Show button will change the color of the valve gate, to help you identify where it is being used.
View/Edit Controller details Select only one controller at a time to view or edit.	The View/Edit button takes you to the View/Edit Valve Gate Controller dialog, where you can view all the details of the valve gate controller programming, and change them where appropriate. If you change them, we recommend you save the valve gate controller under a new name, to avoid confusion later when reviewing the results.
Delete	This button deletes the selected valve gate controller(s) from the table. Select a valve gate before clicking the delete button.
Create Copy	This button copies the selected valve gate controller(s) and creates a new row in the table beneath each controller that is selected. The new controller(s) is given the same name as the original controller, with a number, in brackets, appended to the end. This number will increment for each subsequent controller that is created from that same original controller. Click View/Edit to change to change the name of the controller.
OK	This button saves the changes you have made to the valve gate controller, then closes the dialog.
Cancel	Clicking this button closes the dialog without saving any changes.
