The more accurate the data used in the analysis, the more accurate the results will be. You can edit the data associated with the foaming agent to reflect the interaction of the specific gas with the specific polymer.
The database contains entries for nitrogen (N2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) for you to select. Alternatively, you can use a custom material with data that you enter yourself. Edits that you make will be saved to the study file, but not to the database. If you want to save specific foaming agent data to a specific polymer and be able to select that combination for future analyses, create a new material in the database.
- Click

- Click Next until you reach the Microcellular Injection Molding Settings page.
- Make sure that you have the correct foaming material selected, then click Edit properties.
- In the Edit properties dialog that appears, enter all the requested information.
Remember: You only need to enter data for F1 and F2 if you have selected the Fitted Classical Nucleation model.
- Click OK, when all the data has been entered.
- Click Finish to close the Process Settings Wizard.
