Mold material dialog - Mechanical tab

The Mechanical tab of the Mold material dialog is used to specify the mechanical properties of the mold material.

To access this dialog, click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings). Click Advanced options , then click Edit associated with Mold material. Click on the Mechanical tab to open it.

Mold mechanical properties
Specifies the
  • Tensile Modulus (E)
  • Poisson's ratio (v)
of the mold material. The numbers (0:3e+006) and (0:1) indicate the range of acceptable values you can enter for Elastic modulus (E) and Poissons ratio (v) respectively.
