Select by Layers dialog

This dialog is used to select groups of model entities according to the layer that they have been assigned to. To access this dialog, click (Geometry tab > Selection panel > Layers or Mesh tab > Selection panel > Layers).

Layers list

Lists the defined layers in the model.

To select all entities assigned to particular layer, select the check box next to the layer name.

Add to current selection

Specifies whether you want the entities you have specified on this dialog to be added to the current selection, or to replace the current selection.

Select this option if you want the selected entities to be added to the current selection, or deselect the option if you want the current selection to be replaced.
