** ERROR 313360 ** The automatic cooling time option is not supported when Cartridge heaters or Heater (3D) elements are used that use the Heater control of Time, Thermocouple, or Time with Target Temperature options. Either use a supported Heater control or specify the injection + packing + cooling times.
Explanation
Your model includes cartridge heaters, or Heater (3D) elements. When running a Cool (FEM) analysis, you have 5 different options to control the heating of the these elements:
- Constant flux
- Temperature
- Time
- Thermocouple
- Time with target temperature
The last three options require you to set a time or temperature to switch on and off. As a result the automatic cooling time option cannot be supported.
Resolution
You can resolve this in one of two ways:
- Select Constant flux or Temperature as your temperature control. To do this, select a heater element, click the right-mouse button and select Properties from the drop-down menu. In the Cartridge heater dialog, change the Heater control to a supported option.
- Leave the heater control settings as they are, but switch from automatic cooling to a Specified Injection+packing+cooling time. Click
(), and change the Injection+packing+cooling time to Specified.
