When loads or constraints on the part act in a direction other than the X, Y and Z directions of the global coordinate system, using a local coordinate system can greatly simplify the settings of such constraints or loads. An LCS must be activated for new geometry to be created relative to it.
- Click
Select and click on the local coordinate system symbol in the model pane. - Click
() to activate the selected local coordinate system.
Note: An activated LCS is displayed in red.
