** ERROR 313345 ** Failed to solve the electromagnetic Maxwell equation.

Explanation

Generally, when the Maxwell equations do not converge it means that the matrices are ill conditioned and no longer diagonally dominant. This will occur when the frequency of the alternating current is too high for the mesh density.

Resolution

There are two options to fixing this problem:

• Lower the frequency of the alternating current, or
• Increase the mesh density

Often, the frequency is set by the process and cannot be changed. If this is the case, then you will need to fix the mesh density.
