The induced current density result shows the strength of the current induced in them mold, as a result of the alternating magnetic field in the mold.
This result does not appear in the Study Tasks pane by default. Instead you can create it as a New Plot, after the analysis has run, by clicking ( ). Induced current density is listed in the Available results.
The induced current is an alternating current and should be strongest in the skin depth, in the skin region of the mold inserts, or in the insert that is in contact with the part. This plot enables you to verify this, obtain the strength of the current, and know where the mold will heat up. You can also see the direction of the current. This result is dependent upon the material properties of the mold insert. Figure 1 provides an example of the induced current density result, showing the direction of the current, and the stronger current in the skin region of the mold insert.

If the result does not look as it should, check if the simulation has failed.
