This dialog is used to set the properties associated with a nodal constraint for Stress, Warp or Core shift analysis.
To access this dialog to edit the properties of an existing nodal constraint, select a nodal constraint symbol in the model pane, then either select ( ), or right-click and select Properties).

Nodal translation | The nodal translation constraint must be defined along all three axes; X axis, Y axis and Z axis. For all three axes, the options are:

Nodal rotation | The nodal rotation constraint must be defined along all three axes; X axis, Y axis and Z axis. For all three axes, the options are:

Use constraint in | Nodal constraints can be set for a variety of different analyses. Select the analysis for which you are setting these constraints. The options are:
|
Name | Enter a unique name for these nodal constraint parameters, to distinguish it from others you may set up for different analyses, or with different parameters. |
Apply to all entities that share this property | Checking this box means you don't have to enter this information separately for every entity of the same type. Make sure this box is not checked, if you only want to apply these settings to this one nodal constraint. |
