There are several reasons to remesh beam geometry. For example, you should remesh if you are not satisfied with the density of the mesh in the runner system, cooling channel(s), gas channel(s), structural beam(s), or if you have modified portions of the beam geometry. Each beam can only have one edge length, and not different lengths for specific areas.
- Using the Layers pane, display only the beam elements and curves of the entities to be remeshed. Make sure the part geometry and mesh are not visible.
- Click
(), and select the option to Remesh already meshed parts of the model. - On the Curves tab, adjust the relevant parameter as required.
- Click Mesh Now. The beam geometry will be remeshed using the new curve parameter that you specified.
