Specifies the number of commonly used materials that will be displayed in the Commonly used materials window of the Select Material dialog. The maximum number of materials is 99. Auto-save
|
Specify that your project is to be saved automatically at regular intervals, so that you can retrieve data if there is a system error. Select the Auto-save every check box, and then select the regular intervals (minutes) that you want your work saved. |
Modeling plane
|
Before you can start modeling, you must define and activate a modeling plane from the Modeling menu. Enter the required modeling grid size to use (mm), and specify whether points will be created at the nearest grid point ( Snap to grid), or exactly where you click.

Analysis options
|
Click the Change Analysis Options to open the Select Default Analysis Type dialog, that allows you to specify whether to run a model parameter check, whether to run a full analysis, and also whether the dialog is displayed prior to launching an analysis. |
Memory/Performance |
This option is not selected by default. Select this option if you want the CPU to cache and recycle memory resources for use by this application. This can improve the performance of this application because the computer does not have to repeat memory resource allocation tasks for subsequent operations by this application. Cached memory is not readily available to other applications that may be running concurrently on the computer, so the performance of other applications may be negatively affected when this option is selected. |
Macros/Scripts |
You can write scripts or macros to run a specific instance of Autodesk Moldflow Synergy - User Interface available on your machine. Macros and scripts written prior to the 2016 release are not coded to do this. If you would like to run your legacy scripts on current versions of Synergy, without editing them for a specific instance, check this box. Note: Every time you change this selection, you will be prompted to close every running instance of the application and restart them.
