Define the Mesh

1. Right-click on Mesh Model and choose Edit.
2. Type 0.03 in the Element Size field under Global Settings.

   

3. Click the Settings button.
4. Change the Refinement Ratio from 0.2 to 1.0.

   

5. Change the Max Element Growth Rate input from 1.5 to 1.1.
6. Click OK in the Advanced Mesh Settings dialog.
7. Click OK once more in the Mesh Model dialog. The meshed model should look as shown below.

   

The advanced settings allowed you to get a more uniform mesh density without having extra refinements and element growth.
