Define the Damping

  1. In the tree view, right-click on Damping 1 and select New.

  2. Uncheck Structural Damping if it is checked by default.
  3. Select the Modal Damping checkbox and select Constant from the Type drop-down under Modal Damping.
  4. Select Structural from the Damping Definition drop-down menu.
  5. Enter 0.05 for the Damping Value.

  6. Click OK to accept the changes.
