Installing Navigation

The Gameware support portal offers a different package for each platform supported by Gameware Navigation. Your developer account gives you access to the packages for all platforms approved for your project.

You need to download and unzip the following packages for each platform:

One Windows base package (MSVC 10.0 Base) to access Windows-only tools such as, the Navigation Lab, code tutorials, and other materials.
One or more additional packages that contain libraries built for use on a specific console or platform such as, Linux, Xbox One, and others.

NOTE:The MSVC <version> packages such as, MSVC 11.0 or MSVC 9.0 for Windows are additional packages that require the base package (MSVC 10.0 Base) as well.

For simplicity, you can extract all packages to the same directory on your computer. The packages contain many duplicate files (headers, solutions, sample tutorial code, and so on). You can safely overwrite any existing files each time you extract a package.
