Navisworks Quantification project documents may consist of native and aggregated design files from Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD applications, plus image files for 2D takeoff. The source application determines whether automatic model takeoff is available, and providing your files retain their properties and GUID from the original design file, you can carry out model takeoff.
When exporting from the source application, ensure you also export the object properties and GUID. If no properties are available or an object has not been mapped from the source file, you can carry out a virtual takeoff.
Exporting Revit files to DWF
To ensure all object data is included in the DWF, you may need to change the visual style of your Revit source files. Before exporting Revit files to DWF or DWFX for use in Quantification, ensure the Visual Style is specified as Hidden Line. In Revit, click View tab Graphics Panel Show Hidden Lines. See Revit help for more information.
Converting PDFs
You can convert 2D image files such as PDF to DWF using print driver software.
Quantification supports native and derivate file formats for the following applications.

AutoCAD Architecture | .dwf, dwfx |
AutoCAD Civil 3D | .dwf, dwfx |
AutoCAD MEP | .dwf, dwfx |
