Piping components are added to a piping spec from a catalog. You browse and select a piping component in a catalog, and add the component to the spec. You cannot create a piping component directly in a spec sheet.
You can apply filters to properties, such as pressure class and flange facing, to locate parts in a catalog.
Use the parts display filters to search within the results of the Common Filters. You can also locate parts in a catalog using text string searches (wildcard expressions) in the catalog filter categories.
When you set a component size range Common Filter, only the sizes displayed in the catalog browser are added to the spec.
