You can change the name of a simulation, change settings for analysis results output, and restore analysis results after getting the latest software release.
To open the Results and Compare dialog, click Analyze tab
Energy Analysis panel
(Results & Compare).
To change the name of a simulation
- In the Results and Compare dialog, click the Results tab to see the list of simulations.
- Right-click a simulation name, and click Rename.
- Type the new name and press
Enter.
Note: The Rename option is disabled if you are not signed into
Autodesk® A360. Click Sign In

To change settings for analysis results output
You can add headers and footers to analysis results. You can also select the charts to display in an analysis.
- In the Results and Compare dialog, click the Settings tab.
- In the left column, indicate whether you want to change settings for a single analysis or a comparison of multiple analyses:
- To change settings for a single analysis, select Energy Analysis.
- To change settings for a comparison of multiple analyses, select Energy Analysis Compare.
- In the right column, do the following:
- For Header, select None to omit a header, or click Select and navigate to an image file (600x200 pixels or smaller).
- For Default Charts, select check boxes for the charts to include in the results, or clear check boxes for the charts to omit.
- For Compare Display (for Energy Analysis Compare only), specify whether the comparison is organized into rows or columns.
- For Footer, select None to omit a footer, or click Select and navigate to an image file (600x200 pixels or smaller).
To restore results after getting the latest software release
When you install the latest
Revit version or release, results from your previous energy simulations are removed from the Results and Compare dialog. However, those results are still available on the server.
- Click Restore on the Results and Compare dialog.
A message displays the number of simulation results that will be restored.
- Click OK to continue with the restore operation.
