Installing the Toolkit

To install the Structural Analysis Toolkit for Autodesk® Revit®, follow the instructions below.

1. Make sure Revit is not running.

2. Open your web browser, and then go to the Autodesk App Store website.

3. Find the Structural Analysis Toolkit for Autodesk® Revit®, and then click Download Now.

4. Run the AutodeskStructuralAnalysisToolkitforAutodeskRevit.msi file.

   The Plug-in installer dialog opens.

5. Click Install Now to begin the installation.

6. When the installation is complete, you can click View Documentation to open the readme.txt file for the toolkit, or you can close the dialog.

7. Start Revit.
8. On the ribbon, click the Analyze tab.
   It contains panels with the following tools:

   • Structural Analysis tools:

     	Robot Structural Analysis
     	Analyze in Cloud
     	Open Dashboard
     	Messages
     	Results Manager
     	Results Explorer

   • Structural Code Checking tools:
     Note: These tools display in the ribbon after you set up a design code.

     	Code Combinations
     	Code Settings
     	Element Settings
     	Run Calculation
     	Results

Note: After the toolkit is installed, the Structural Analysis for Autodesk Revit icon is added in the in the bottom right corner of the screen when you open a Revit project.

If the Structural Analysis for Autodesk Revit icon does not display:

1. Select Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Notification Area Icons.
2. For Autodesk Revit select Show icon and notifications.
