Add or Remove Revit Content

After installation, you can add or remove Revit content using the Add or Remove Features utility.

To add content, you must be connected to the Internet so the installer can download the desired content from the Autodesk site.

1. On the Windows Control Panel, select ProgramsPrograms and FeaturesUninstall or change a program, select Autodesk Revit Content Libraries for the relevant release, and click Uninstall/Change.
2. On the installation page, click Add or Remove Features.
3. On the Add or Remove content page, select the content to add, or deselect the content you wish to remove.
4. Click Next to update your Revit installation.

When you use the Add or Remove Features utility for Revit, the following paths may update in UserDataCache\Revit.ini:

• FamilyTemplatePath
• DataLibraryLocations
• DefaultTemplate

The next time Revit starts, it copies those paths from UserDataCache\Revit.ini to the user profile version of Revit.ini.
