Show Service

Select the fabrication service for the selected part in the MEP Fabrication Parts palette.

Use this tool when you want to switch the service in the MEP Fabrication Parts palette to the one for the selected part, so you can easily place additional parts.

Note: This functionality is available only to students and to Autodesk Maintenance and Desktop Subscription customers for Revit 2016 software releases.

1. In the drawing area, select a fabrication part.
2. Click Modify | Fabrication Part tabMEP Fabrication Parts panel (Show Service).

The service for the part is active, and the part is selected in the MEP Fabrication Parts palette.

3. Press Enter to place additional instances of the same part.
