Define Save Reminders
You can specify how often Revit LT reminds you to save an open project, or you can turn off the reminder.
File Save Options
Use the File Save Options dialog to specify the maximum number of backup files and other settings related to file saving.
About Backup Files
All backup operations (such as copying, purging, and so on) occur when you save changes to a project. If necessary, you can use backup files to roll back the latest changes to a project, restoring the project to a previously saved state.
About Journal Files
Journal files capture the actions taken by the software during a session of Revit LT, from the time the software starts to the time it stops. These text files can be used to troubleshoot technical problems with the software.
Specify the Number of Backup Files
By default, Revit LT saves up to 3 backup files for each project. You can change the number of backup files that Revit LT saves for a project.
Restore a Backup Version of a Workshared Project
When you have been using Revit LT to revise a workshared project and you want to revert to an earlier saved version of the project, restore a backup.
