Product waypoints identify the initial product being recorded and can also identify when the recording focus changes from one product to another.
Product waypoints are the only waypoints that can be generated by default. If a user makes a recording of a screen region or of an application that does not support Screencast, the recording still shows the Product track. If the product information is not provided by the application, Screencast collects the information from the operating system.
Your application creates a Product waypoint during product registration.
You can register and display installed plug-in waypoints in the Product track using the registerPlugin() API.
