Design Study Manager: Open an existing Design Study

Use this procedure to simply open an Autodesk® CFD Design Study without changing any geometry.

1. In the CAD tool, launch into Autodesk® CFD.
2. Click the Update design study tab.
3. Select the desired Study.
4. Click Open design study.

The results of this procedure are:

• Autodesk® CFD starts, and no Designs are changed.
• If the geometry was to be changed, use the Update design button instead.

Note: If launching with the Mechanica method from Pro/Engineer, this option does not allow the model to be meshed (or remeshed). If a new mesh is to be generated, click the Update design button instead.
