Generate the 2-D Mesh

1. Right-click the Plane 2 < YZ(+X) > heading under Planes in the browser (tree view) and choose Select all Sketches. The construction object group headings under each part in the browser will become selected and highlighted.
2. Click Mesh Mesh Generate 2D Mesh. (Note: Alternatively, you could right-click one of the selected headings and choose the Generate 2D Mesh command from the context menu).
   1. Activate the Mesh Size option and type 0.15 in the adjacent field.
   2. Click Apply to generate the 2-D mesh.  

   The element type is set automatically to 2-D for all parts, and the model displays as shown in the following image.  

    

3. Click Save on the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) to save your model.
