Activating the command: In the Results environment, Results Contours Settings
Legend Properties
Probe Settings tab.
You can use this button to change the font properties of the text in the probes. It will access a standard Windows font dialog.
If this check box is activated, the probes will be hidden when any dynamic viewing options are used (rotating the model, zooming, panning). Once the dynamic viewing option is complete, the probes will reappear. This allows for faster dynamic viewing.
If this check box is activated, when a probe is added to the interior of a model, the box surrounding the text will appear on top of the model. If this check box is not activated, the model will appear over the box.
This control sets the number of decimal places shown by the probes. If the number larger than the 10 -n (where n is the number of decimal places), then the number is shown as a fixed format with the number of decimal points specified. If the number is smaller than 10 -n , then the number is shown in scientific notation with the number of decimal points specified.
For example, the value 0.00123456789 is displaced as 0.0012 when using 4 decimal places but as 1.234e-003 when using 3 decimal places.
