FEA Editor Tab

Activate the command: Application Menu Options FEA Editor tab, or Tools Options Application Options FEA Editor tab. The FEA Editor options are organized into the following three groups.

FEA Objects

This section of the FEA Editor tab allows you to adjust the size and color of the arrows and glyphs used to represent the loads and constraints in the display area.

• Current Color: Specify the color of the highlighted FEA Object for the currently loaded model only.
• Default Color: Specify the default color of the highlighted FEA Object for newly created, future models.
• Size: Use this slider to control the size of the displayed arrow or glyph for the highlighted FEA Object.

Other Colors

Use this section to control the colors used for the following two items:

• Default Shade: Controls the color of surface shading in the FEA Editor.
• Refinement Points: Controls the color or refinement points displayed within the FEA Editor.

Inquire Decimal

This numeric input specifies how many digits are shown after the decimal point in the tooltip (when the mouse hovers over a vertex), or when displaying the distance between two vertices.
