Note: The information on this page is applicable only to Simulation Mechanical Flex. The Notifications feature is disabled for the desktop product.
You can opt to have notification emails sent to you to report the status of jobs you run on the cloud. Enable this feature by checking one or more boxes in the Notifications column of the Solver Manager dialog box. However, you must first configure your notification options for this feature to work.
To set up email notifications, click Analysis

Notifications. The available options and inputs are as follows:
- E-mail addresses: Type one or more email addresses into this field. Use a semicolon (;) as a delimiter when entering multiple addresses. Each listed address receives emails when the Notifications option is enabled in the Solver Manager dialog box.
- Send Messages section:
- At start: Activate this option to receive a notification email when the analysis is started.
- When meshing complete: Activate this option to receive a notification email when solid meshing is complete for all applicable parts.
- When solving finishes: Activate this option to receive a notification email when the solution is finished. You also receive an email when the process ends because the solution failed).
- Test message: Click this button to have a test message sent to each specified email address. A confirmation message pops up on-screen to confirm that a test message has been sent. Verify that each applicable email inbox receives the message . If you fail to receive the test message, double-check the entered address. Also, make sure that no junk mail filter has blocked the notification email. If necessary, add noreply@autodesk.com (or the autodesk.com domain) to your safe email list to prevent notification messages from being blocked.
- OK: Accept the specified settings and close the Notifications dialog box.
- Cancel: Close the Notifications dialog box without saving any changes.
