Quick Start - Import Models

Import your CAD model into SimStudio. If appropriate, you can modify the import behavior by adjusting settings in the Preferences dialog.

  1. Click Open a document as shown.
    2. Note: You can also access the dialog via the application menu. Click the application menu icon and select Open.
  2. In the Open dialog, browse and select the model file to open.
  3. Click Open to import the model into SimStudio.
Note: You can open documents with one-click on your Home tab.
