Gearshift lever example

• Organic part for a gear lever
• Aim: 3D-print to try out the haptics
• As to fit the metal rod

Strategy

• The shape can be seen as a series of varying cross-sections
• Start from a cylinder to fit the rod

Steps

1. Start with a cylinder.
   
2. Extrude.

   

   All extrusions.

   
3. Bridge.
   
4. Fill holes.
