Create center rectangle

Create a rectangle by selecting the center point and then a corner.

The first point defines the position of the rectangle. The second point defines the length and width.

Parallel and perpendicular constraints are applied to the lines.

  1. On the Sketch drop-down list, click Primitives Center Rectangle.
  2. In the graphics window, click to specify the center of the rectangle.
  3. To specify the corner:
    • Click a point in the graphics window.
    • Enter values for length and width, and then press Enter. Click a point to define the position of the rectangle.
    • Enter one value, and then press Enter to lock the value. Click a point to define the other value.
  4. Click a point to begin another rectangle, or right-click and then click Cancel to end the command.
