C-pillar example

• Some areas on cars are difficult to build in NURBS as many surfaces meet and smooth continuous blends are required
• A good example is the root of the C-pillar
  

• The aim is to connect the pillar smoothly

Strategy

• Bridge the sharper edges first
• Then fill in the holes, trying to use as few star points as possible

Steps

1. Bridge sharper edges.
   
2. Fill in holes.
