Alloy wheel example

• Spokes with some depressions
• Aim: only front part as model

Strategy

• First define the circular holes and depressions with face rings
• This makes sure they are accurate

• Build a simplified shape of the spoke with faces
• Try to have as few star points as possible

Steps

1. Create circles from cylinders, then extrude.
   
2. Adjust shape for depression.
   

   Only half a spoke is needed.

   
3. Add faces.
   
4. Mirror to have a complete spoke.
   
5. Deform with the Lattice tool.
   
6. Shape.
   
7. Apply 5-axis symmetry.
