Displays a color gradient on the faces of selected bodies to evaluate the amount of curvature.

Body

Select the body to evaluate.

Display

Smooth displays a blend between colors. Bands displays no transition between colors.

Type

• Gaussian displays the gradient as the product of curvature in the u direction and curvature in the v direction.
• Principle Minimum displays the gradient highlighting areas of lowest curvature
• Principle Maximum displays the gradient highlighting areas with the highest curvature.

Scale

Available for Gaussian curvature. Controls the scale of the gradient.

Minimum Limit

Available for principle minimum curvature. Sets the minimum curvature value to highlight in the gradient.

Maximum Limit

Available for principle maximum curvature. Sets the maximum value to highlight in the gradient.

Opacity

Controls the transparency of the analysis applied to the bodies.

High Quality

Increases the display quality of the gradient. High quality has better display but can affect performance.
