Motorcycle tank cover example

• Aim: shape milled in clay for manual adjustments
• Theoretical edges are required

Strategy

• Build strips of faces to define the edges
• Make the surfaces in-between flat
• Define the curvature of the surfaces in a second step

Steps

1. Create first strip of faces.
   
2. Create first extrusion.
   
3. Create second extrusion.
   
4. Create third extrusion.

   
   All extrusions.

   
5. Adjust shape.
   
6. Add edges and curve surfaces.
