Viewing normal vectors with laser data points helps to anticipate flicker in Single Group mode. The more points the projector must travel, the greater the tendency for the image to flicker. The projector cannot redraw the shape as many times per second as an image containing fewer points.
To view normals, you must first click Points in the ribbon to display the laser data points. See View Points for more information.
Displaying points activates the Normals option in the ribbon. Click this option to toggle the display on and off.
