Introduction

Flexible web layouts are an alternative to the viewers described in Viewer_TOPIC_5309. They work in major browsers on Windows, Macintosh, and Linux, including Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. They use JavaScript and so require no browser plugins or proprietary technologies.

Note: Refer to the system requirements for the supported version of each browser.

This chapter assumes you are familiar with configuring flexible web layouts through Infrastructure Studio, which provides a user interface for routine configuration. This chapter describes some of the ways you can extend their default functionality.
